Stainless Steel 17-7 PH primarily contains chromium (16–18%), nickel (6.5–7.75%), aluminum (0.75–1.5%), and controlled carbon content. This composition allows precipitation hardening through heat treatment, resulting in exceptional strength and hardness. Mechanically, 17-7 PH exhibits very high tensile and yield strength, good fatigue resistance, and excellent dimensional stability. It maintains good corrosion resistance comparable to 304 stainless steel while offering significantly higher mechanical strength.
