Incoloy 825 is a nickel-iron-chromium alloy containing molybdenum, copper, and titanium, designed for excellent resistance to corrosion, especially in reducing and oxidizing environments. Its composition includes approximately 38-46% nickel, 19-23% chromium, 2.5-3.5% molybdenum, 1.5-3% copper, and small amounts of titanium, iron, and manganese. Mechanical properties of Incoloy 825 include a tensile strength of around 600 MPa, yield strength of 240 MPa, and an elongation of 40% in 50 mm. It offers excellent resistance to stress corrosion cracking, pitting, and crevice corrosion, making it suitable for harsh industrial environments.
